Passengers taking domestic flights in Vietnam are now allowed to keep all sizes of liquids, aerosols and gels with them in the cabin, as a new circular entered into force on Sunday, May 01, 2016
The Ministry of Transport’s circular No.1/2016/TT-BGTVT allows domestic flyers to carry liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes with them in carry-on luggage, regardless of the quantities or container sizes.
According to the Aritcle 74 Circular No.1/2016/TT-BGTVT, those who take international flights are allowed to carry no more than one liter of liquids, aerosols, gels, and the like in total. The liquids should each be in 100ml containers at most. The restrictions are exempt for infant milk or food in liquid form when passengers travel with babies, and for liquid medicines with prescription. Flyers are allowed to keep all sizes of duty free liquids, so long as they are kept in tamper-evident bags.
